If you’d like to persuade clients and customers to come to you website or take action on your sales offer then you know that there are things you are going to have to do on the inside, ways of thinking that you will have to adopt.

There are also things you can do on the outside, the actual words you say when trying to persuade a customer or client.

One of the best ways that skilled persuader’s have found to build and grow their businesses is to mirror their client’s and customer’s language.

In other words, they use their client’s jargon or way of speaking.

This is one thing that almost all great marketers consciously do.

As it turns out we humans like to be in groups and within those groups, we have our own specialized way of communicating with each other.

So to influence you customers find out what are their favorite words that they use, and begin using it in all of your marketing messages

This will help you attract more customers to your business.

How To Get Your Customers And Clients To Feel Comfortable With You


Mirroring is a technique that highly successful persuaders and marketers use to influence the actions of others.

And by using this technique, they are able to get their customers and clients to feel comfortable with them, that way the customers and clients in turn feel comfortable and confident in the products and services that are being offered to them.

This blog post should give you some insight into how you can use this technique inside your business to generate more profits and customers by having them feel more confidence and trust with you in a one on one selling situation.

So let’s look at Mirroring.

Mirroring

Imagine standing in front of a full length mirror enclosed within a wooden case.

Notice your reflection looking back at you and imagine crossing your arms.

Notice how your reflection does the same action.

Well this is basically what “mirroring” is.

The only difference is that instead of standing in front of a mirror, you will be standing in front of another person.

And as it turns out, when two people are talking in a face to face situation, they will move into virtually identical postures.

And this happens automatically usually without any of them being aware of it.

If the two people have rapport, then they will mimic each other’s movements.

So what I’d like you to begin doing is to notice how people who share the same view often share the same body posture.

While doing this exercise, you may also notice that when a dominant person in a group changes their body position, others in the group will usually change their body language to match.

And while mirroring usually occurs naturally and unconsciously, skillful persuaders use it consciously.

So the action step that you need to take in order to have your customers perceive you as more trustworthy and have more confidence in you and your company is to mirror their actions when in a face to face interaction.

Last note. Be subtle about it though.

When it comes to business, especially online, Trust is the foundation for keeping current customers and attracting new ones.

If you or your business is perceived as untrustworthy, then customers won’t show up to buy what you are selling.

They will discredit everything you say and eventually your online business will fail.

However, when you begin to notice how important trust is to your online business, then attracting new customers and keeping existing ones coming back becomes easier.

 Identify 2 areas in business that you should be more receptive to ideas. People will trust you more if you are receptive to their needs and concerns.

 Where are 2 areas where you can test out unpromising and over delivering. You will be able to build trust much faster if you manage other’s expectations by always delivering more than you promise.

 Identify 2 trusted and respected partners in your field that you can use to actively promote your reliability. What would you have to do so that they will do it willingly?

 Where can you openly admit the downside of your proposal’s? How can you openly admit your failures and weaknesses?

How To Build Credibility For Your New Online Business Fast


Sooner or later you will discover that for us to be believable and worthy of trust, our customers and clients have to be able to see us as “experts” in our fields.

We have to be seen as someone who is sought out for advice.

If our clients see us as “experts” in our niche, then they will be more willing to pull out their wallets and buy our products and services and keep coming back to do business with us.

Begin writing or outsource the creation of this book so that you are perceived as an expert in your niche. What conditions would you have to put in place to make sure this happens?

 4.       List 3 of the problems and challenges that customers and clients are facing in your niche. What can you do to communicate to them that you have the solution to problems?

 5.       What upcoming events related to your field is coming up? What would you have to do to become a presenter or speaker at this event?

 6.       Identify 3 of your past successes in helping others solve their pains and frustrations. How can you share this with potential clients and customers?

 7.       What are 3 books that you need to invest which relates to your niche? Write down a target date to get them and begin reading and taking action on them immediately.
